Chrissy is the founder of Brewerytown Pilates and has been teaching movement for over 20 years. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Temple University, completed her comprehensive Pilates training through Drexel Pilates, and is Nationally Certified in Pilates (NPCP). Her background as a professional dancer and choreographer informs her eye for detail, flow, and alignment, but what matters most to her is helping people feel at home in their bodies. Ruth Utterback
Instructor
Ruth's Pilates journey began as a member at Brewerytown Pilates, where she discovered the strength, grounding, and sense of home that movement can provide. After living in Shanghai for 14 years, her experiences abroad shaped her into an adaptable, compassionate teacher who values meeting people exactly where they are. Ruth completed her Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training through the Drexel Pilates Program and is passionate about helping clients build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection to their bodies. Her classes are supportive, encouraging, and thoughtfully paced, creating a welcoming space for every stage of the Pilates journey.

Paulina Petryk
Instructor
Paulina is a third-generation teacher and student of Pilates, proudly continuing the living lineage of the method. A lifelong lover of movement, she was drawn to Pilates for its authenticity, precision, and rich tradition. What began as a personal passion for taking classes evolved into a deeper commitment to the discipline, ultimately leading her to pursue comprehensive Pilates teacher training through the Drexel Pilates Program under the direction of Jennifer Morley. As a classically trained instructor, Paulina’s teaching style emphasizes functional movement, flow, precision, and concentration. She incorporates somatic instruction into her teaching, encouraging clients to focus on how movement feels within the body rather than how it looks externally. Her approach centers on cultivating a deeper mind-body connection while creating an environment that feels supportive, empowering, and approachable. Paulina is passionate about helping clients improve strength, posture, confidence, and body awareness through intentional, mindful movement that supports both physical and mental well- being.

Kate Seethaler
Instructor
Kate Seethaler (she/they) came to Pilates in search of a movement modality to support her dancing body-mind and quickly became hooked on the specificity and possibilities that Pilates offers to all bodies. In 2012, she received her full mat and equipment certification through InBalance Pilates/Carrie Pages at Aldrich Pilates in New Haven, CT. Kate later received her MFA in Dance/Choreography and Performance in 2016 from Smith College. Utilizing her education in both Pilates and dance, Kate’s sessions/classes playfully emphasize precise alignment, groundedness, ease, and breath, drawing upon on her own journeys through injury, healing and discovery. Kate is a proud mom of two humans and one canine, as well as a freelance choreographer, movement artist, and dance educator. A proud Brewerytown neighbor, Kate is excited to share Pilates right here in her community.

Tiffani Vaughan
Instructor
Tiffani is a Power Pilates–certified and nationally certified instructor with over 12 years of teaching experience. A devoted mom of two and proud Brewerytown local, she balances her full-time career with her passion for Pilates—bringing thoughtful cues, classical precision, and her own creative flair to every class.

Cherry
Mascot & Brand Ambassador
Cherry joined the Brewerytown Pilates family as a 6-month-old pup, just weeks before the studio opened, and she’s been our brand ambassador ever since. While she doesn’t attend classes, she represents us online with curiosity, energy, and love—popping up in reels, photos, and plenty of behind-the-scenes moments. As our mascot and social media star, Cherry reminds us to keep things playful, welcoming, and full of heart.
