FAQ
How to prepare for your first class
Congrats on taking the first step toward feeling stronger, more balanced, and more at home in your body—we can’t wait to be a part of your journey.
Here’s a quick rundown to help you feel prepared for your first class:
🧭 Getting Here: We’re located at 1458 North 30th Street, with easy street parking. Give yourself a few extra minutes just in case!
⏳ Arrival Tips: Arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.
🧘 What to Bring: Just wear clothes you can move in. Bare feet or sticky socks are perfect! Mats and props are provided.
When should you arrive for class
We often have classes back-to-back at the studio, so we recommend you arrive 10 minutes before your class starts. This allows for the prior class to wrap up and clean up equipment so it will be ready to go when you arrive.
Grace Period Policy
We know that sometimes, despite your best efforts, you might run a few minutes behind—it happens to all of us!
⏰ Our sweet spot: If you're running late, aim to arrive within the first 5 minutes of class to settle in
⏰ Teacher's discretion: Our instructors may allow entry beyond 5 minutes depending on the class
If you're running late, you can message us through the Momence app to let your instructor know. We appreciate your understanding!
Cancellation Policy (when a client cancels)
We understand that life happens! To keep things fair for both our instructors and clients, please review our cancellation policy below:
Group Classes
💙 Cancellations must be made at least 6 hours before the class start time.
💙 Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of the class credit or a fee if applicable.
Private Sessions
💙 Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
💙 Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, you can do so through the Momence app or by contacting us directly. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you in the studio!
Cancellation Policy (when we cancel)
Like our clients, sometimes life happens and we need to cancel a class or private session. This may be due to weather issues or unforeseen circumstances that make the teacher unavailable. In these rare instances, we will send an email and text message to affected clients as soon as possible. You will also see the class or private session marked as "cancelled" in Momence.
In these cases, your class or session will be fully refunded as a credit if you have a membership or class pack, or the charge will be reversed on your credit card.
